May God be with all of you. It gives me great pleasure and honour to welcome you to the Crans-Montana International School (CMIS).

I am sure you will feel at home here with us, as we are deeply committed to ensuring that each and every student receives extraordinary care in reaching different age appropriate milestones, preparing them for their future which is the hallmark of CMIS

Our goal is to provide our diverse student body with exceptional education, instilling in young people a love of learning, the ability to think independently and the confidence to pursue their dreams and goals. We offer an extraordinary academic and extracurricular program with high standards; we support each of our students as they work to reach different milestones.

Message from the Head of School
Dear Visitors to the CMIS Website,
It is with great pleasure that I am welcoming all viewers to our web page.
Welcome to Crans-Montana International School (Chittagong) situated in the heart of the city. Our school purpose is to educate the children of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community by offering our children a comprehensive education from Pre-play to Grade 7, gradually to Grade 12. We are a caring community where students’ needs are a priority and where traditional and modern educational values are respected and encouraged to coexist.
The curriculum emphasises the acquisition of knowledge, useful skills, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for all students attending our school. The administration and staff believe that every student is unique and special and that they all have the ability to learn. We believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every student to their maximum potential. Students are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.
At CMIS, the educational community strives for excellence by preparing students for learning beyond their school years and assisting them to become lifelong learners, as well as helping them to be self-directed, realistic, and responsible decision makers when solving problems that they will encounter in our multicultural, ever-changing world. Ultimately, each student will gain from their life at school according to the effort they apply.
Crans-Montana International School is a candidate school for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students. Our school also supports the students with special needs.We strongly believe in the importance of teachers, parents, and administrators collaborating and communicating openly and frequently. We continually improve the quality of tools of communication, including giving our parents access to an interactive website where they can retrieve pertinent information about their children’s academic achievement.
